Accommodations
INDEPENDENCE sleeps a total of 9 in 3 staterooms and crew quarters. The queen master is aft and has an ensuite head. The two mid ship guest staterooms have twin berths and a shared head which has a private entry into the port guest stateroom. The crew quarters are forward and consist of a private Captain stateroom with a single berth and an additional crew stateroom with an upper and lower bunk. Both crew staterooms share a head, INDEPENDENCE has a large covered aft deck area, a midship salon, raised pilothouse, and a country kitchen forward. The engine room is located under the pilothouse and has full standup headroom and easy access to all mechanicals.
Salon
The salon has an L shaped sofa to starboard, 2 occasional chairs separated by a teak lamp table, a teak cocktail table, teak end tables, and a walnut entertainment center on the forward bulkhead with a 50 inch flat screen television above. The entertainment center houses a Panasonic 5 disc CD player and the KVH satellite television controller, with separate receivers for the salon, master, and galley area. The salon is paneled in walnut with new beige carpeting. The windows all open.
Galley
The galley is located forward on the main deck and is county style. All the way forward is a large U shaped dinette which seats six. Aft of the dinette is the island style galley with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

Master Stateroom
The master is aft and full width. There is a center line queen sized berth on the aft bulkhead. There are built in teak topped dressers and night tables sharing the aft bulkhead. To port is a Corian topped built in vanity and forward of forward of the vanity is a large walk in hanging locker and closet. The ensuite master head is located to starboard and has a shower stall, toilet and a large vanity with Corian top, double sinks, and abundant drawer and cabinet storage. Located a mid ship on the forward bulkhead is a built in dresser with 8 large drawers.
Guest and VIP Staterooms
The guest and VIP staterooms each feature single berths separated by night table with drawers. Each room has a hanging locker and under berth drawer storage. The head is shared with a private entrance for the port stateroom.
Crew Quarters
Crew quarters are forward on the lower deck. The crew shower is located all the way forward. Next aft and to port is a built in bank of drawers. Aft are stacked bunk berths. Opposite the berths is the crew head and vanity sink. Aft is the crew lounge with a dinette, built in TV and a locker with a washer and dryer. Opposite to port is the Captain's cabin with a single upper berth with ample drawer storage. The entire crew area is paneled in walnut.
Pilothouse
The pilothouse has a center line stainless steel and teak wheel. The electronics are located in a wrap around teak console forward of the wheel. Aft of the wheel are port and starboard leather bench seats and port and starboard sliding pilothouse doors. The entire pilothouse is paneled in walnut with a beautiful teak and holly sole.
Aft Deck
The aft deck is extremely inviting with a wet bar on the forward bulkhead and bench seating aft with a large dining table and two teak deck chairs. The wet bar is teak and has a large under counter stainless steel refrigerator and ice maker. There is a hidden stainless steel sink.

2005 Refit
