Founded in 1966, Bradford Marine made the first of many farsighted choices when it installed its 300-ton Synchrolift™. At the time, the lift was considered to be far larger than business demanded, but beginning with the 130-foot Fountainbleau II in 1967, their decision proved to be correct. The shipyard has since used the lift to haul thousands of the world’s finest yachts up to 300 tons and 150 feet in length. Using a side carriage transfer system, Bradford Marine provides over 1,000 linear feet of dry dock space.
In addition to its lifting capacity, Bradford Marine is also one the world’s largest in-water undercover yacht repair and refit facilities. Their covered slips can handle vessels up to 180 feet in lengh and 45 feet in height. With total of 11,000 linear feet of covered slips and service bays, Bradford Marine can deliver repairs and services on time, regardless of rainy weather.

Bradford Marine’s Fort Lauderdale shipyard has a workforce of over 170 of the finest craftsmen and technicians in the industry who work with state-of-the-art equipment to provide the very best skilled service. They are world renowned for providing top-quality yacht paint jobs, among the best in the world. Their machine shop is equipped to straighten or fabricate propeller shafts, and with the latest in optical equipment, they can assure that shaft alignments are proper and vibration-free. Their propeller shop has the latest computerized and MRI equipment to make sure that propellers are properly pitched and balanced. Bradford Marine’s second-to-none carpentry shop is manned by experts in cabinetry, joinery, and teak decking. Additional expertise is found in their fiberglass, electrical, air conditioning, refrigeration, and hydraulics shops. Bradford Marine’s team of bottom specialists, with the assistance of their in-house Naval Architect, can make thorough inspections of hull bottoms and running gear to make sure that they are in top shape. Customers value having one-stop expertise where all trades and equipment are available on-site. In 2009, the Company opened a satallite facility at Lauderdale Marine Center, just east of Bradford Marine’s Fort Lauderdale shipyard. This expanded their capabilities and enabled the Company to provide full service to yachts of all types and sizes, with Bradford Marine’s tradition of standing behind its work.
In the mid-1990s, Bradford Marine realized it would have to expand its facilities to accommodate the world’s growing mega-yacht fleet. In order to service these larger yachts, the Company built a new 47-acre, full-service shipyard in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island and formed its sister company, Bradford Marine Bahamas. Since then, Bradford Marine Bahamas has been servicing yachts and commercial vessels at its fully-

accessible, deep-water shipyard. Bradford Marine Bahamas has a team of over 90 tradesmen, along with a 1200 ton floating dry dock to haul vessels up to 230 feet, a 150-ton Travelift™ to haul smaller vessels, and 2,000 lineal feet of dockage to service yachts and commercial vessels.
In 2009, Bradford Marine Bahamas signed a service agreement with its neighbor, Grand Bahama Shipyard, to utilize its drydocks to haul the worlds largest mega-yachts, regardless of length or weight. At Bradford Marine Bahamas’ 2,000 feet of deepwater docks, these larger yachts can easily clear customs and immigration and be prepared for their haulout at Grand Bahama Shipyard. It’s a much needed service previously unavailable in South Florida and the Bahamas. Combining both companies’ resources and skilled work forces, Bradford Marine Bahamas has expanded it’s capabilites to provide the finest service to the world’s largest mega-yachts. |

In 2004, the Company opened Bradford Marine Towing, that provides towing and salvage services to the yachting community on the New River and South Florida waters. In 2006, Bradford Marine Bahamas formed a towing division that now provides these same services throughout the Bahamas.
Bradford Marine Yacht Sales was also formed in 2004 and has grown into a full service yacht sales and charter organization. With its unique undercover Yacht Showroom, a Complimentary Dockage program for central listings and generous Listing and Charter Rewards programs, their expert sales and charter professionals have sold and chartered an ever-growing cadre of luxury yachts of all sizes. In addition, the Company provides professional services to the yachting community like naval architecture, charter management and more.
